College Rules

1. The Academic Session :
The Academic Session of the college starts from June and has two terms, 1- June to December 2- January to May.

2. Admission :
Admission into +2 and +3 Degree wing begins after the publication of the H.S.C. Examination result and the C.H.S.E. results and continues till the last date prescribed for such admission by the council and the University respectively or till the available seats are filled up whichever is earlier.

3. Undertaking :
A student seeking admissionis required to apply in the prescribed form within the specified date and before he is admitted into the college he and his guardian have to sign. on undertaking in proper form that the student will abide by the rules of the college.

4. Ordinary admission is allowed on the grand of merit and conduct of a student Admission matter of right.

5. Address :
Each student must register in the college office the address at which he lives. Any subsequent change of address must be intimated to the office in writing immediately.

6. Tutorials :
As soon as the tutorial groups are formed and notified it is the duty of the student to find out the particular group to which he has bneen assigned. If he is not included in any of the groups he must bring the fact to the notice of the college office.

7. Lectures :
Every year a student is required to attend in each subject a minimum of seventy five(75%) percent of lecturers and tutorials calculated separately, So that he will be eligible for being sent up for the C.H.S.E. or, University Examinations. The syndicate may consider however deficiency of attendance to the extent of 15% only in case of his percentage of attendance falls below the irreducible minimum of 60%.

The name of each student is entered in the attendance register for general lectures and tutorials.

It is the duty of the student to find out if ones name has been figured in the appropriate registers, In case one fails to find ones name in the concerned registers, he/she should bring the fact at once to the notice of the principal in writing.

8. The students are allowed to change their subjects with a written application to the principal within the stipulated period notified for the purpose. Application received after the last date may not be taken into consideration.
