In the Indian market, every day one or the other four-wheeler manufacturer is launching a better car. A few days back, India’s leading carmaker Maruti announced the launch of its new Trims variant of the popular family car, Alto. You are informed that the look and design of this automobile is much more premium than the predecessor. In addition, it provides you with a mileage of 33 kilometers per liter. Tell us about it in the comments.
New Maruti Alto Engine And Mileage
The new Maruti Alto continues with the old 0.8-liter engine option, however, the K10C DualJet 1.0-liter petrol motor is now available under the hood as well. The powertrain in question is a super-efficient and peppy 1.0-liter engine which produces 66 PS of power and 89 Nm of torque, ideal for daily drives in the city with occasional highway stints.
The Alto still manages to kneel down providing greatness in mileage, the petrol variants return over 24 km/l and the CNG variants boast even lower running costs at 33 km/kg. A 5-speed manual transmission is offered with both engines where the 1.0-liter variant also gets an optional AMT or Auto Gear Shift offering additional convenience.
New Maruti Alto Features
Step inside the New Alto and the first thing that you will notice is a new and spacious cabin, with a premium feel. The two-tone interior, seating and added head room keeps all occupants settled in. I also like the tech-savvy design of the dashboard — it comes with a 7-inch SmartPlay Studio touchscreen infotainment system with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay.
Other features consist of front power windows, a remote keyless entry system, and a digital instrument cluster, which displays essential information such as fuel economy and trip data.
New Maruti Alto Safety Features
On the safety front the New Maruti Alto comes equipped with dual airbags, ABS with EBD, rear parking sensors and is built on a high-strength body structure that has crash safety norms. With Maruti’s dependable nature and a widespread service network, the Alto is still a no-nonsense evening.
